Mental health Service is a service designed to care patients with mental health problems. After consultation, Counselling, investigation done by care providers and gaining treatment patients can return to their home, taking drugs and implementing guidance given by care providers in collaboration with Partners In Health/INSHUTI MU BUZIMA

Service delivered at KADUHA DH Mental health Service

• Reception, admission, orientation and patient registration;
• Patient Education session on behaviour change regarding to mental health; patient right and responsibilities;
• Re-evaluation and Follow-up of Patients with mental health problems through appointment given by care providers.
• Consultation of  patients;
• Counselling
• Group therapy
• Family therapy;
• Laboratory order for illness investigation;
• Drugs order;
• Transfer to IPD (In Patient Department) if necessary;
• Patient Admission and follow-up in hospilization;
• Transfer to referral hospitals for more investigation;
