Pediatric Service is an IPD (In Patient Department) service designed for caring patients under 15 years old. Hospitalized patients are vised daily by specialists doctors or medical doctors accompanied by nurses who provide care as recommended by doctors. Doctors in ward round evaluate patient’s evolution by analysing results from laboratory or recommend treatment changes for curative cares.

Service delivered at KADUHA  DH Pediatrics:

• Patient care management and orientation;
• Patient Education session on behaviour change regarding to diseases prevention; patient right and responsibilities;
• Following of acute pathologies or chronic diseases;
• Curative cares  
• Palliative cares
• Re-evaluation and Follow-up of patients in ward round tour.
• Laboratory order for illness investigation;
• Radiology order for illness investigation;
• Drugs order;
• Transfer to referral hospitals for more investigation;
