OPD department

Out Patient Department is designed to care patients who are not in critical conditions. After consultation, investigation done by care providers and gaining treatment patients can return to their home, taking drugs and implementing guidance given by care providers.

Emergency Service is an IPD (In Patient Department) service designed for delivering emergency care. Patients at emergency service are consulted by medical doctors accompanied by nurse who provide care as recommended by doctors. Doctors in ward round evaluate patient’s evolution by analysing results from laboratory or recommend treatment changes for curative cares. When stable patients are transferred to appropriate service accordingly.

 Service delivered at KADUHA DH OPD and Emergency

  • Reception, admission, orientation and patient registration;
  • Patient Education session on behaviour change regarding to diseases prevention; patient right and responsibilities;
  • Re-evaluation and Follow-up of Patients with NCDs (Non Communicable Diseases) through appointment given by care providers.
  • Management and Follow up of patients with HBV & HCV
  • Consultation of  patients;
  • Laboratory order for illness investigation;
  • Radiology order for illness investigation;
  • Drugs order after analysis of Lab results ;
  • Transfer to IPD (In Patient Department) if necessary;
  • Transfer to referral hospitals for more investigation;
  • Medical certificates when in need.
  • Medical report (Expertise).
  • Mortuary service.
